What to expect
Belfast Beyond Walls is a tour that will help people understand the complex history of our city and how and why the period known as ‘The Troubles’ began.
The first part of our tour will bring in historical stories from 1600s until the early 1900s to give some knowledge on how ‘The Troubles’ began. After this we then walk along the Shankill and Falls road as we bring you as close you can get to our local living history.
Belfast Beyond Walls can be provided for educational and community groups at reduced rates and this tour can be brilliantly adapted on a bus for an even more detailed analysis of the Peace Walls.
"I brought along 4 of my Aussie mates to the tour upon the recommendation of a colleague in Melbourne. I wasn't disappointed. The guide was very interesting and friendly, was always in jovial mood and had a vast knowledge of the city and its sights. The walking tour was at a steady but casual pace and was well worth the reasonable price we paid. Thanks guys. I'll be back!"
